About Forever Community

What this is

Forever Community is the community hub for players of World of Warcraft: Forever, before and after launch. The website is where guilds describe themselves, players describe what they are looking for, staff publish news, and the community keeps its Justice blocklist; the community Discord is where everyone talks.

It is built around one idea: honest pages. Guilds keep their openings and schedules current, players keep their availability current, and the site shows a fit score with its reasoning spelled out rather than a mysterious number.

What you can do here

Most of the site is open to anyone. You log in with Discord. Applying to a guild, messaging a recruiting team and hosting events also need membership of the Forever Community Discord server.

Your guild page or player profile goes live on the site as soon as you make it (a guild page may first be checked by the site team). Joining the Discord is optional. It adds two things: your player profile is posted in the Discord’s player forums while you are looking for a guild, and a Guild Master can turn on a post for their guild in the Discord’s guild recruitment forums. Each guild may have only one post there.

• Browse guild pages with schedules, openings, rosters and a fit score for your character.
• Create a player profile and be listed as looking for a guild.
• Apply to guilds and talk to their recruiting team in a single, private thread.
• If you are in the Discord, have your profile posted to its player forums while you are looking for a guild.
• See the posts players write in the Discord’s player forums, mirrored on the Players page while they are up, and reply to one as your guild.
• Read the news from the team, and RSVP to community events run by the staff team.
• Read guides written for this community about finding, running and growing a guild.

Who runs it

Volunteers. The Recruitment Managers who moderate the site are members of the Discord who give their own time. There are no paid staff, and the only thing for sale is an optional supporter pass for guilds. The only advertising is one sponsor banner on the front page and the guild banners of supporter guilds (a supporter pass perk), which help cover the site’s server costs: images served from our own domain, with no ad network, no tracking and nothing about visitors shared with anyone. If something here is broken, confusing or unfair, tell us on Discord and we will fix it.

Guild pages are run by their own Guild Masters and officers. The site team does not vet guilds beyond the community guidelines, and a guild page is not an endorsement.

Independent

This site and the Forever Community Discord server are independent fan projects. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Blizzard Entertainment. Apart from the one sponsor banner on the front page, which helps cover the site’s server costs, no company has any part in running the site, and nothing about visitors is shared with the sponsor. Supporter guilds that advertise with a supporter pass have no part in running it either. World of Warcraft and related names are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe what the community plays.

Get in touch

The Discord server is the front door for everything: questions, problems, moderation appeals and ideas. Log in here with Discord and you will see how to join. The site itself has no mailbox; a person on Discord will always answer faster.
