I’m an older player looking for a long-term guild when Forever launches.

I played WoW heavily for 4–5 years, from late Wrath through Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria, and briefly returned for Warlords of Draenor. I’m now looking for a more casual schedule without giving up a competitive mindset. I enjoy improving, learning encounters, and contributing to a group that takes progression seriously without treating the game like a second job.

What I’m planning to play:

I’m rolling a Tauren Shaman, a class I’ve never mained. After spending time in the Forever beta, I enjoyed its gameplay and quality-of-life improvements. I learn quickly, welcome constructive feedback, and can play either DPS or healer depending on the guild’s needs.

Schedule and availability:

I’m in Western North Carolina (US Eastern Time) and prefer raids on weeknights or Sunday evenings. My weekends are often busy, but I’m generally available during the week. I also travel for business fairly often, though I have a gaming-capable laptop and may still be available while traveling. Occasional scheduling conflicts are possible.

A little about me:

I’m a former Marine, happily married, and the father of two young adult sons. I work as a software architect, enjoy craft beer—especially hazy IPAs—and appreciate people with a good sense of humor. I'm a big sports fan with particular allegiances to University of Florida and the Atlanta sports teams, Falcons, Hawks, and Braves. I also play another WOWs, World of Warships, as a change of pace from MMOs and to get my PVP fix in.

What I’m looking for:

A mature, friendly guild with a strong social atmosphere and some ambition toward endgame content. I value preparation, steady progression, and a group that understands real life comes first. I’m not looking to be carried or make WoW a second career—just hoping to find good people to enjoy the game with long term.
