Basically a new player having only played about 15 years ago but quit after failing a midterm in my undergrad. Much older and hopefully mature enough for moderation (I have a good job, earned PhD and got diagnosed/medicated for ADHD) so I figured I could maybe again without worrying that it'll ruin my life.

I like to show some level of competence in something I'm spending a lot of time in, so even though I'm not planning on being super competitive, I still strive to effort to be good at the game (PvP or PvE) and am not a flakey person if I agree to something like a scheduled raid time or spending effort to learn the game or optimizing my play. I like the idea of being casual but don't like to waste people's time and have an inherit try-hardish nature if that makes sense.

I'm a ttrpg nerd and thus not a stranger to RP (very comfortable being in character on discord for example) but not RP in a game like WoW. Still I can commit to keeping the vibes of a community a certain way if I can understand the etiquette.
