Semi-Hardcore / Dadcore
We want to clear content, play well, and improve as a team without turning WoW into a second job.
About Midlife Crisis
Midlife Crisis is a group of experienced players coming together for WoW Forever. Many of us have played Classic, Vanilla, private servers, or WoW in general for years.
Our goal is simple: clear content efficiently, enjoy the people we play with, and build a guild that lasts.
We take progression seriously while keeping the atmosphere relaxed. Real life comes first, mistakes happen, and nobody needs to be yelled at over a video game. At the same time, we expect everyone to respect the time and effort of the other people in the raid.
Raid Expectations
We try to keep this simple:
Show Up: Sign up when you can and give us a heads-up if you're going to be late or absent. We understand that real life happens.
Come Prepared: Repair, bring the appropriate consumables, and make a reasonable effort to keep your character properly enchanted and ready to raid.
Know Your Role: You don't need to be perfect, but we expect everyone to learn their class, understand the fights, and be willing to improve.
Respect the Team: Be respectful of other players, keep drama to a minimum, and take constructive feedback for what it is—an effort to help the raid improve.
That’s really it. Be reliable, be prepared, play your class, and don't be an asshole.
Attendance
We are not looking to punish people for having lives.
For players who want a consistent raid spot, we ask that you maintain roughly 75% attendance over time and communicate when you cannot make a raid.
Reliability matters more to us than pretending everyone can maintain perfect attendance.
Trial Period
New raiders will generally have a two-week trial period.
The trial is simply a chance for both sides to make sure the fit is right. We are looking at things like attendance, preparation, attitude, performance, and how well you work with the raid.
Trials are still eligible for loot.
